My love for horses and the sport of barrel racing has inspired this column. I have been competing in barrel racing and pole bending since I was 8 years old. I have been professionally training since 1993. My experience has taught me that you can learn from every horse and rider you meet. So in a positive way to help fellow barrel racers and their horses we have started this column. The interviews posted are barrel racers that are competing and winning. Not just a who's who, but how they train, care for their horses and prepare for barrel racing competition them selves.
